Mrs. Rivas, a licensed and multilingual clinical social worker, who has worked within the non-profit field over the last 13 years. She has served a wide variety of populations including LGBTQ+, those dealing with issues related to substance abuse, survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Mrs. Rivas has been serving Erie patients since 2019. The clinic now offers telehealth Behavioral Health services. Dr. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with postpartum and pre-natal women, is a trauma-informed therapist for adults. She is also a specialist in trauma treatment. Additionally, she provides groups and individual therapy, treatment with medication, referral for specialty care along with Women's support groups. Amanda is an active volunteer with Best Friends Animal Society. She helps homeless pets find new homes. She is dedicated in the Best Friends slogan "Save Them" and has been working to transform Los Angeles into an animal-free city. Amanda is someone who is a positive force in her day.
